Job summary

Ridgeview is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality X-ray and MRI exams across our Minnesota imaging sites. You will interact with patients and staff to ensure safety while capturing accurate diagnostic images.

The role requires collaboration with Radiologists to confirm data accuracy, equipment safety, and efficient patient flow. A full-time schedule includes a unique 64/80 hour pay structure and a $7,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology.
• Registered by the ARRT in MR with pathway to certification.
• Meet basic requirements for ACR accreditation.
• CPR certified and able to meet background checks.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff professionally to ensure safety.
• Produces high quality diagnostic x-rays and MRI images.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and function.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist for data accuracy.
• Monitors patient during scans for safety concerns.
• Performs intravenous access as needed.
• Ensures room and equipment are cleaned between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Every Friday 8:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and MRI images.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Monitors patient while performing scan for any safety concerns such as overheating, discomfort etc.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology
• Registered by the ARRT in MR (Employees cross‑trained by Ridgeview have 1 year from the completion of training to become certified)
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
• CPR Certified

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on MRI images
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License / Certification

• Registered by the ARRT in MR (Employees cross‑trained by Ridgeview have 1 year from the completion of training to become registered)
• Must meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditations

Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
