Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $42.81/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.


$10,000 Sign on Bonus


Employees who participate in the 5/6 program receive a 40% premium on their base pay rate for all hours worked between 7:00 pm Friday and 7:30 am Monday. Other hours worked outside of this weekend time-frame are paid at the regular base rate. PTO and other paid benefit time is also paid at the regular base rate.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:


The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Education: High School Diploma/ GED

  • Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.

  • Must be ARRT eligible


Licensure/ Certification:



  • BLS American Heart Association

  • ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered.


Other Skills/ Knowledge:



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience: 2 years radiography experience. 1 year MRI experience. Licensure/ Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered.
