Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology and can operate the MRI machine efficiently while making patients comfortable.

Certification from ARRT is a plus; must have NYS Rad Tech license and be willing to obtain it after starting, plus injection certification and BLS. The role requires standing for extended periods and coordination with physicians to ensure timely results.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Injection certification required.
• ARRT certification or equivalent preferred.
• New York State radiologic license required (after starting).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient care tasks as needed.

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

Requirements

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• MUST HAVE Client SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• Certification through the ARRT
• MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED
• NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain this after starting
