Piedmont Macon North is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist. You will care for patients across neonatal to geriatric ages and ensure adherence to all prescribed standards.

This role supports a collaborative team in a fast-paced clinical setting. Minimum education and certification requirements apply, including ARRT Radiography registration and BLS.

Competenze

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT accredited program.
• 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certified.

Mansioni

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal through geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
6 months as an MRI Technologists preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
