Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will image anatomy and physiology using MRI, support physicians with diagnostic exams, and provide compassionate patient care across all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.

Under supervision of a Radiologist, you’ll adhere to standards, maintain patient safety, and ensure high-quality imaging to help clinicians diagnose disease and plan treatment.

Formación

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• No prior experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Image MRI studies to assist physicians in diagnosing disease under the supervising Radiologist.
• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations following prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care across all age groups (neonatal to geriatrics).

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
6 months as an MRI Technologists preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
