Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare's Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and ensure patient safety under the supervision of a Radiologist.

You will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric ages, maintain standards, and participate in a team that values quality imaging and exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
• MR Technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
6 months as an MRI Technologists preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
