Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Duluth, GA seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image anatomical and physiological conditions using MRI and ensure adherence to prescribed standards.

The ideal candidate has an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, is eligible for ARDMS or ARRT registration, and holds BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training required.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration required; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions of the body using the resonant frequency properties within a magnetic field.
• Provide patient care to all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric under the supervision of a Radiologist.

MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
