Job summary

Eastside Medical Center seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, imaging patients from neonatal to geriatrics. You will ensure high-quality images and patient comfort while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires ARRT or ARDMS registration upon hire and BCLS certification, with no mandatory experience and a preference for at least 6 months in MRI.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration; BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Follow prescribed standards and safety protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
