Eastside Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI scans under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role includes patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, ensuring safety and image quality.

Education must include an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited training; ARRT radiography certification and BCLS are required on hire. No prior experience is necessary, though 6 months of MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire; ARRT radiography certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, from neonatal to geriatrics, during imaging procedures.

Overview:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
