Cooper University Health Care in Rio Grande is looking for an MRI Technologist responsible for interviewing and screening patients before MRI procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You'll perform MRI studies, manage patient documentation, and work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare teams.
The position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, alongside a high school diploma or GED. Canon MRI experience is preferred, but training will be provided. A competitive salary of $49.00 per hour is offered.

Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history, and completes studies in EPIC / EMR and PACS system.
Canon MRI experience preferred but not necessary. Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are needed to effectively orchestrate the daily workflow of patients. Highly developed customer service skills are required. The ability to work well as part of a team.
A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program.
Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification preferred. BLS/CPR preferred, required after 6 months' employment.
Rotating holiday shifts per year required.
