Job summary

Metrowest Medical Center – Consolidated Hospital in Framingham, MA, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures under minimal supervision, producing high-quality images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. You will complete required documentation, coordinate with radiologists, and maintain competency within the introductory period.

The role supports a collaborative team using advanced imaging technology in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
  • AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training.
  • Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
  • BLS certification.
  • State license if required.

Responsibilities

  • Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review and completes documentation.
  • Performs complex diagnostic MRI procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
  • Provides excellent patient care while producing high quality diagnostic images.
  • Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Preferred:
    • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.
    • 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
    • ARRT (MR) certification.
