Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, venipuncture as needed, and assist Radiologist and nurses with sedation cases.

Requirements include ARRT MR (or ARRT R with a plan to obtain MR within 1 year) and the state certification; 1 year of relevant work experience is required. Flexible hours and collaboration with a multidisciplinary imaging team are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT(MR) certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work experience: 1 year required.
• Must obtain ARRT(MR) license within 1 year of orientation completion.

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you‘ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases. Your Job Requirements:
