Alerion Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment based in Rochester, NY. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility. The role offers competitive pay up to $3,456 per week with benefits, and a 40-hour work week across 5 shifts per week during a 17-week engagement.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Certification through the ARRT
• MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED
• NYS Rad Tech license —must be willing to obtain this after starting
• Skills Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization —Highly Desired

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed
