Job summary

Jobot is seeking a West Village MRI Technologist to join a premier imaging center in New York. The role runs Monday through Friday with no required on-call, nights, or weekend shifts, and carries a competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include patient screening, preparation, and performing MRI procedures across a range of areas, including abdominal, neurological, and extremity imaging, with IV/oral contrast administration per Radiologist orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State licensure as Radiologic Technologist with certification in IV contrast administration.
• ARRT registration required.
• MR(ARRT) certification within eighteen (18) months of entry date.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Prior radiology experience; MRI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough screening of patients prior to procedure.
• Prepares patients for examination.
• Performs MRI procedures to include: abdominal, thoracic, neurological exams, extremities, sub-periosteal implant planning, radiation therapy treatment planning, biopsies etc.
• Administrates intravenous (IV) and oral contrast agents as per Radiologist order.
