Job summary

Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New Rochelle, NY seeks a CT/MRI technologist under radiologist supervision. You will perform CT and MRI procedures, prepare patients and rooms, and ensure image quality and safety standards across procedures.

Responsibilities include data entry, protocol setup, assisting radiologists during procedures, labeling and archiving images, and maintaining sterile technique while training staff as needed. The role requires ARRT registration and injection certification.

Qualifications

• High School required and formal radiologic technology training completed.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Injection Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room, enter data accurately into RIS and systems.
• Obtain cross-sectional images and set protocols for high-quality imaging.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and monitor progression.
• Label, process, and display images for interpretation by radiologist.
• Establish vascular access and inject contrast per protocol.
• Maintain records of image slices, injections, and procedures.
• Uphold radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
• Train associates and students in CAT Scan or MRI procedures.
