Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist in Anderson, SC. You will prepare patients and operate MR equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans in a collaborative outpatient imaging environment.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR and Radiography credentials, ARRT certification, and any required state licensure. Epic EMR experience is preferred; no overnight or on-call shifts are offered in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-certified in MR and radiography.
• ARRT-approved Radiography Program completion.
• State license where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
