Job summary

ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, MI is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role you will perform MRI studies, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

You will tailor technical factors to procedure, diagnosis, and patient size, obtain history, explain procedures in plain language, and maintain documentation and safety standards. A sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
• Must be registered by the ARRT; if registry eligible, must pass within one year of hire.
• Must be licensed by the state where required or ARDMS/NMTCB as applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Select proper MRI technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size and health status of patients.
• Obtain patient history and explain procedures in clear, understandable terms.
• Adhere to safety standards, document imaging quality, and maintain equipment care.
