Job summary

ProMedica Bay Park Hospital's radiology team is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging under physician supervision.

You will operate CT equipment, determine technical factors based on patient factors, and document contrast administration, ensuring radiation safety and patient comfort throughout the scan.

You will work closely with radiologists and technologists to optimize imaging protocols and contribute to accurate diagnosis.

Qualifications

• AMA approved radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT CT registration is required; registry within 1 year if eligible.
• State license if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors based on patient age, size and health status.
• Administer and document IV contrast as directed by a physician.
• Use proper radiation protection and immobilizers to produce high-quality CT scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team to deliver high-quality care.

Delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging allows providers to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment and management.You will work with the radiologist and other members of the team to deliver high-quality care and support our patients.In this role, you will use computerized tomography equipment by selecting proper technical factors based on age, size, weight and anatomical differences and general health status of patients.Under the direction of a physician, you will demonstrate your knowledge and ability to administer and document contrast and IV contrast. You will also use proper radiation protection and age-appropriate immobilizers to produce high-quality CT scans.The above summary of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
