Piedmont Walton is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Imaging Team. You will perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, under the supervision of board-certified radiologists.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, hold ARDMS/ARRT certification, and BLS. No experience required; 6 months of MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) Upon Hire required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration upon hire required.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to prescribed standards and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
