Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for designated body regions. You will work within a team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Required are graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, ARRT RT or MR or ARMRIT MR certification, and BLS. Preferred are 1 year MRI experience and additional Life Support credentials; color vision may be needed for certain units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or accredited MRI program.
• Registered as ARRT RT or MR, or ARMRIT MR certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year MRI experience; additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
• Color vision may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
