Job summary

Northside Hospital, a leading award-winning care provider in Georgia, seeks a MRI Technologist. The role requires graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program and ARRT MR. BLS certification is also required.

You will operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for designated body regions, contributing to high-quality imaging and patient care. Preferred candidates have MRI experience and additional life-support credentials.

Qualifications

• ARRT registrations: RT and MR (or ARMRIT MR).
• Current BLS certification required.

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
3. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
4. ARMRIT (MR)
5. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in MRI.
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
