Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and obtain high-quality tomographic images for diagnostic purposes in a busy radiology department.

Applicants must have ARRT MR/RT or ARMRIT MR credentials and a current BLS certification, with preferred MRI experience. This is an on-site role supporting patient care across departments in the Georgia region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or Accredited MRI program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) by ARRT or Registered MRI Technologist (MR) by ARRT or ARMRIT (MR).
• Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images of designated body areas.
• Maintain highest standards of patient safety and image quality.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure accurate imaging and efficient workflow.

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
