Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join its radiology team in Atlanta. You will operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality tomographic images and ensure patient comfort and safety during scans.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, and ARRT or ARMRIT registration, plus BLS certification. Prior MRI experience is preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities for professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images of designated portions of the body.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure patient comfort and safety during scans.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)

1. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in MRI.
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
