RadNet in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an In-Suite Assistant to support MRI technologists and radiologists, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflows. You will assist with coil positioning, safety screening, and procedure prep, while documenting patient histories in the EMR.

The role requires good computer skills, strong time management, and at least one year in a healthcare setting. CNA/MA designation preferred; BLS required. This is an on-site position within a dynamic imaging team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an MRI Technologist Assistant program with clinical hands-on training.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting.
• Strong computer and time management skills.
• CNA or Medical Assistant designation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support MRI Technologists and Radiologists to promote patient safety and efficient workflows.
• Comply with HIPAA guidelines and safety guidelines for a clinical environment.
• Assist in coil positioning, MRI safety screening, patient observation, and procedure prep.
• Collect and document accurate patient histories and record in the EMR.
• Maintain a clean MRI control room and decontaminate coils/equipment/exam rooms.
• Greet and guide patients through the MRI process and answer questions.
• Administer oral contrast under technologist direction and provide instructions.
• Support technologists with coil setup, suite cleanup, and supply stocking.
• Screen patients and verify exam documentation.
• Position patients, gowning, removing IVs, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with MRI Steering Technologist and site leadership for smooth operations.
• Communicate delays and schedule changes to front desk/team.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and quality control activities.
