Job summary

RadNet is seeking a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant in Beverly Hills to support MRI safety and patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will assist MRI staff, relay patient history, and help set up coils and maintain the MRI suite.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least one year in a medical setting, plus completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on training.
  • BLS certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to ensure MRI safety and quality patient care.
  • Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist with patient screening and observation during exams.
  • Support technologists with coil setup, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suite.
  • Safeguard patient property and Health Information; handle medications per company policy.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting boundaries and cultural sensitivities.

When you join RadNet as a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

  • Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
  • Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
  • Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Role

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • At least one year experience in medical setting
  • Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, public relations and verbal and written communication
  • Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table

Pay Range: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour
