Job summary

RadNet in Beverly Hills is seeking a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant to support MRI safety and patient care on a clinical service team.

You will assist MRI staff, convey patient history, and help with coil setup, scheduling, and room cleanup while safeguarding patient information and medications. Excellent communication and professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• At least one year experience in medical setting.
• Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands‑on clinical training.
• Excellent interpersonal, public relations and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to optimize MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and assist MRI Technologists during exams.
• Support technologists with setup, schedule maintenance and cleanup of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Respect company property and patient financial information on-site or on portals.
• Respond to others with professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will:

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
• Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
