Job summary

RadNet seeks a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care. You will assist MRI staff, coordinate with radiologists and administrators, and help ensure safety, efficient workflow, and patient-centered service in a fast-paced imaging environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, professional conduct, and the ability to handle sensitive information while supporting a team focused on excellent clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • BLS Certification is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
  • Excellent interpersonal, public relations and verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to ensure optimal MRI safety and patient care.
  • Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety; assist MRI Technologists with MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening/history and observation during exams.
  • Support technologists with procedures; set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suite.
  • Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information on site.
  • Safeguard medications on site in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respond to others’ needs.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will

  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Role
To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
