Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for its Imaging/Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have ARRT or MR certification and at least one year of experience. Responsibilities include patient verification, conducting imaging procedures, and participating in process improvements.

This full-time position is located at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, known for its comprehensive medical care and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT in Radiology (R) or MR.
• One or more years of experience in Radiology or advanced certification.
• Required BLS certification by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and medical records.
• Interview patient and assess risk factors.
• Explain procedures to patients including side effects and alternatives.
• Set up equipment and acquire images as per script.
• Review images and document exceptions.
• Provide post care instructions as prescribed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide imaging education to residents and students.
• Take on-call/standby as required.
