Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Detroit is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic exams and ensure excellent patient care. Responsibilities include patient interviews, imaging, and emergency response. Successful candidates must be ARRT registered and capable of providing BLS. Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
• Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period.
• One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
• Interview patients to obtain, verify or update medical history.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide necessary post care instructions.
