Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a PRN MRI Technician for Tyler, TX. You will perform MRI procedures under the Imaging Department leadership, with overtime and call-back as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA school of radiologic technology.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Achieve ARRT registry in MRI within 18 months of hire.
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI procedures as normally required in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
• This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
