Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team at Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC. This PRN role supports imaging services with ARRT MR certification (or in process within 6 months) and prior MR experience preferred.

You will operate advanced MRI equipment in a collaborative environment, ensuring patient safety, precise imaging, and thorough documentation to support accurate diagnosis.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(MR) certification or registered within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or MR program.
• Minimum of one year MR experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For:

• ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Education:
• 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Minimum of one year of experience in MR, required.
• NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
• Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
• IV Credentialed, required.
• Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
• Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required):Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
