Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist specialized in MRI at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists.

You will educate patients about procedures, monitor during imaging, and assist with contrast administration per physician guidelines, while maintaining EMR accuracy and engaging in ongoing quality

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or diploma in radiologic technology and ARRT certification.
  • Current Montana state licensure or eligibility.
  • CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic quality images as directed by radiologist.
  • Educate patients on imaging procedures and safety before exam.
  • Monitor patient during procedures and manage contrast administration per protocol.
  • Maintain QA and safety protocols, and document in EMR.
  • May float to other imaging areas as needed.
