Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient, escort to MRI suite, verify identity.
• Position patient and ensure comfort; check safety devices.
• Assist MRI technologist with equipment setup and paperwork.
• Prepare and scan paperwork, load studies in Synapse when applicable.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the scan room.
• Burn CD of images and deliver to patient when needed.
• Facilitate communication among MRI staff, receptionist, and patient to optimize flow.
