Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• ARRT RT(R) and RT(MR) certification or equivalent.
• Certified MRI Safety Officer (MRSO) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MRI safety activities including hazard prevention, equipment testing, and staff training.
• Serve as MRI safety SME for inquiries.
• Coordinate safety protocols for active device management and safety programs.
• Conduct safety assessments and enforce safety policies.
• Maintain MRI competencies and provide patient care as needed.
