Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist to perform MRI procedures independently, prepare patients and equipment, and support safety and quality initiatives. The role emphasizes mentorship of staff and students and leads department improvement efforts.

Day shifts only with no on-call, weekends, or holidays. Comprehensive benefits include health, retirement, tuition assistance, and paid time off, with a 5% advanced modality differential for MR work.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from trade school (or higher).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience; MRI licensing preferred.
• Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures; familiarity with regulatory standards (ACR, JC).
• Strong mentorship, safety, and quality assurance skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment for MRI procedures.
• Performing studies independently and in on-call, portable, or varied settings.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Mentoring staff and students.
• Leading department initiatives to improve patient and employee experiences.
