Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join the MRI-Hosp team for night shifts at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The MRI RN provides essential nursing care within a complex imaging environment, focusing on patient safety, comfort and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure safety screenings, collaboration with MRI technologists, continuous patient monitoring, medication administration and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in MRI or imaging nursing is preferred.
• Ability to monitor patients, recognize adverse events and respond promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients undergoing MRI procedures.
• Collaborate with MRI technologists to ensure safe, high-quality imaging and patient care.
• Provide pre-procedure safety screenings and identify contraindications.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs as ordered.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Support patient transport and positioning during MRI exams.
