Job summary

Avera St Mary's Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce clinically diagnostic images under physician direction. You will perform routine MRI procedures, prep patients, ensure safety, and coordinate with the radiology team to maintain workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a 2-year college or hospital-based Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography upon hire.
• ARRT certification in MR upon hire.
• Less than 1 year knowledge of radiologic/MRI terminology, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI imaging accurately and efficiently per standards.
• Prepares patients and positions them for MRI and IV injections.
• Coordinates daily schedules for efficiency and exam completion.
• Maintains records and reports for MRI area.
• Communicates with radiologist and care team regarding exam details.
