Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, acquire and analyze imaging data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners in patient care. You will prepare and administer medications following regulations, ensure patient safety, and optimize imaging protocols while adhering to safety standards and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or equivalent (ARMRIT or NMTCB with ARRT-MR) is required.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on safety, quality, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Use imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and assist with MR interventions.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality and process improvement activities and support departmental priorities.
