Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in an operating room setting with focus on advanced modalities. The role includes preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently, and overseeing shift operations including workflow and resource management.

The candidate will mentor staff and students, troubleshoot issues, and support supplies management while maintaining high quality imaging and patient care

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) in Radiography or relevant advanced modality certifications.
• 2-5 years of radiology experience; preferred 5-10 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
• Manage daily shift operations, adjust priorities, and elevate technical issues.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff and students.
• Assist in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining supplies.
• Delegates tasks and assumes supervisory responsibilities in absence.
