Job summary

Froedtert Health in Wauwatosa, WI seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to support on-site MRI operations, quality initiatives, and education. You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and researchers to develop and test new MRI protocols, while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor residents, participate in ACR accreditation efforts, and contribute to QA and education initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Completion of a 2-year Radiologic Tech program (AMA approved).
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology and ARRT in Magnetic Resonance is required; BCLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily department operations; act as contact for research, accreditation, protocols, education, and QA.
• Mentor residents and new personnel; support MRI protocol development and testing.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicists, nurses, and staff to improve processes and patient care.
