Job summary

Froedtert Health's West Bend Hospital seeks an MRI Technologist to support daily department operations and QA, serving as a key contact for research, accreditation, protocols, education, and performance improvement.

You will work with radiologists, nurses, physicians and staff to implement scanning protocols, mentor residents and new staff, and contribute to cross-department projects. ARRT certification and BCLS are required; three years of MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
• Successful completion of a 2 year Rad Tech program; plus 1-2 years post-secondary education in a related field.
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance is required.
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily department operations and QA; be the key contact for research and accreditation.
• Demonstrate advanced MRI procedures and mentor MRI staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians and staff to improve protocols and patient care.
