Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare knowledge or clinical background preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists with room and patient preparation for radiologic exams.
• Assist the technologist and radiologist with patient care before, during, and after the procedure.
• Promote high-quality patient care through effective communication for comfort and safety.
• Coordinate with other departments and nursing staff for exam coordination and safety.
• Maintain patient records by importing/uploading outside images and handling imaging requests.
• Transport patients as needed and stay with patients in exam rooms when required.
• Clean work areas, stock supplies and perform rounds throughout the department.
• May participate as an MRI safety team member after Level 1 training.
