Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• BLS/Healthcare certification required (may be obtained within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify identity; match wrist band MRN to requisition.
• Escort outpatients to changing areas and prep exam according to MRI safety rules.
• Inform patients about exam preparation, remove metal items, and proper attire.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and reach out to patients needing additional imaging.
• Review screening questions and prior history with patients as needed.
• Explain dietary preps or other directions for a successful exam.
• Maintain patient flow and keep paperwork complete before passing to the technologist.
• Perform patient record merges and assist in CD requests.
