GE HealthCare in the United States seeks a Lead Magnet Engineer to provide electro-magnetic design leadership for MRI magnet projects, driving cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and quality goals are met.

The role leads EM design, field support, verification and testing, develops design alternatives with suppliers, and manages schedule, resources, product cost, and risk across assigned programs, with a focus on reliability and

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a technical field required.
Minimum 2 years of experience including graduate school research.

Responsabilités

Lead electro-magnetic design, field support and verification, including testing and system compatibility for MRI products.
Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to develop design alternatives for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability.
Establish and maintain performance, quality, vitality, and reliability for MRI products.
Provide project leadership for EM design activities within programs, including estimating schedules, resources, and costs.
Take on project leadership to support Lead Program Integrator or Program Manager when needed.
