Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Lead: One year of work experience in the senior level of the job family.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
• Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Prepares and operates MRI equipment according to physician orders and safety standards.
• Verifies equipment functionality and selects imaging protocols for optimal image quality.
• Prepares patients, reviews preparation requirements, and ensures safety.
• Performs MRI examinations with proper positioning and protocol adjustments.
• Maintains accurate records and transfers images to PACS for review.
• Supports department operations including scheduling and supplies management.
• Lead: coordinates patient flow, trains staff, and enforces MRI safety practices.
