Shields Health Care Group is seeking an MRI Technologist to support imaging services at our Massachusetts site. This role provides a professional, caring atmosphere to all patient groups while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked clinical environment.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, and the position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Required are MRI scanning experience and MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications (ARMRIT accepted at some locations).

Formación

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods.
• Assist patients with mobility difficulties.
• Some locations may require call rotation and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to the level of understanding.
• Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
• Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
• Perform scan in accordance to center's protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete all forms pertaining to patient's exam.
• Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
• Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
• Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
• Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.

What you will do

Contrast administration

What you need

• This opportunity requires prior MRI scanning experience.
• Necessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills. ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.
• Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
• Assist patients with mobility difficulties
• Some inpatient locations may require employee's to participate in a call schedule/rotation
• To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
• Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation

Additional Job Description

Pay range for this position is $48-$65/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
