Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana seeks an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment under Radiologist direction, producing high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and privacy. You will work with ARRT-certified standards and maintain documentation in the hospital EMR system.

This full-time role at St James Hospital involves 36 hours weekly across 8–10 hour shifts, rotating call, and the chance to participate in ongoing education and competency development.

Qualifications

• AA or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist guidance.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during procedures.
• Access, update, and manage patient records in the EMR with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate and prepare patients about imaging procedures and safety.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous education activities.
• May float to other departments as needed and may be on-call.
