Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and transport.
• Assist patients with completion of questionnaires/history forms.
• Assist with documentation, patient records, and data entry.
• Gather information for upcoming MRI exams.
• Knowledge of MRI safety zones and screening procedures.
• Complete ARRT Imaging assistant (MRI) competency within 12 months of hire.
• Reset and clean MRI suites between patients, including coil changes and room preparation.
• Support patient comfort by providing information and addressing concerns prior to scans.
