Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment.
• Basic proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the MRI suite in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Conduct and document MRI safety screening and review questionnaires.
• Verify patient identity and correct exam before imaging.
• Assist patients with gowning, lockers, and removal of metal objects.
• Explain MRI procedures to minimize anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility to the MRI table.
• Prepare and clean MRI exam rooms and restock between patients.
• Support CT studies as needed and coordinate with technologists.
