Job summary

Radiology Associates of Hartford PLLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a variety of sequences and imaging procedures with independence and clinical judgment. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and patient-centered care within a fast-paced radiology setting.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring accurate documentation and patient preparation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment and related computer systems.
• Strong communication, patient care, and attention to detail skills.
• Able to assist patients with mobility issues.
• Able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive directives from radiologists and supervisors to perform position functions.
• Interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Operate MRI equipment and assist physicians and radiologists while complying with policies.
• Select pulse sequence factors (TR, TE, FOV, flip angles, etc.) based on patient factors and protocol.
• Explain preparation and scanning procedures to patients and verify patient history.
